Education

Education is the area of concentration of the proposed program. Education is understood as a continuous and dynamic process, through which decisions are made, aiming at sustainable use, development, and protection of natural and human resources. The goals of Education are to construct collective knowledge, aiming to awaken local and educational potentials, with the purpose of forming a collective of teacher-researchers, who point out solutions and alternatives to the constant challenges that the educational field presents, in the local and regional environment of the coastal ecosystem, in which various communities are embedded.

From an operational standpoint, Education is an ongoing process that integrates the activities of characterization, diagnosis, planning, and educational management based on pre-established public policies.
